My Passion for Woodturning
Hello, my name is Nick Palliser.
Living in the luscious countryside on the border of Northamptonshire and Leicestershire, I live on a large estate where I never tire of walking through the woodland and fields. I am blessed to be surrounded by the beautiful English scenery.
Over the years I have made many things with my hands, historically in metal. However, more recently, I have developed a deep love of all things wood - particularly its textures, figuring, scents and qualities. Woodturning has allowed me a new avenue of creativity and forged a deeper connection to the land around me.

Material Sourcing
I turn the objects you see in my workshop from a majority of native woods. Many are collected from where I live.
