My Passion for Woodturning
About me.
Hello, my name is Nick Palliser. Living in the luscious countryside on the border of Northamptonshire and Leicestershire, I am blessed to be surrounded by the beautiful English scenery. We live on a large estate where I never tire of walking through the woodland and fields.

Over the years I have made many things with my hands, historically in metal. Over the past few years, however, I have developed a deep love of wood: its textures, figuring, smells and qualities. Woodturning has allowed me a new avenue of creativity and a deeper still connection to the land around me.

What I do
I turn the objects you see in my workshop from mainly native woods, many collected from where I live
Commissions. I am very happy to take on commissions for special, bespoke gifts. Platters, bowls, urns and more. Price depends entirely of species and size.

However, I am not a production woodturner and am not equipped to make spindles or other architectural items.
Customer Satisfaction is key, and I also know how difficult it is to buy products like these unseen. The touch, smell and look are all vital. If for any reason you are disappointed by what you have ordered, I will offer a full refund within 7 days.
